I thought I'd finally share something I love and have a big passion for with you all. Fashion Friday is a way I thought I could incorporate fashion into my blog without it becoming classed as a 'fashion blog' as a whole, but more part fashion, part lifestyle. So that being said Friday will be the day of fashion my friends. The day I discuss all things amazing with you all. Although at this point in time it's technically not Friday, we can pretend. I've never really been the punctual one to be honest.
Being in the creative industry in any form let alone a stylist in the 21st century is what I like too call a trend. Being in the fashion world seems glamorous, fun, pays a lot and just full of amazing people, doing amazing things that is true but it also can be tough, competitive and very expensive when you're just starting off. So many people want to be doing something whether that be modelling, acting, singing, fashion designer, photographer...the list goes on but being a fashion stylist is something I long to do and would more than anything love to do it full time. However like anything you want in this world, it takes time and dedication.
I am trying to make those steps towards my career goals and I started off by doing my first planned photoshoot. After planning it for what seemed years, I finally managed to get an amazing creative team of beautiful girls (girl power) together to bring my ideas too life. It was a great day and I got too work with some very talented ladies. The day reminded me of what can be achieved if you really put your mind too it. Although it was a very small and probably simple shoot too others, too me was a big stepping stone...
I finally completed something I wanted too do for so long. Getting too sit down and look at the images after made me feel so proud of not only myself but everyone around me. Each of them brought something to the shoot and without them I have no idea how it would've turned out. I had my amazing best friend and upcoming model Isabelle Besquè modelling for me. A very talented photographer by the name of Sara Gi. A lovely and amazing makeup artist and hair stylist Andrea Czoka creating Isabell's photo face and two of my closest friends; upcoming model Neasa McDonagh and Tonya Virgo helping out on the shoot and brought a bit of entertainment also. They all played a role in making my ideas come too life.

The pictures came out exactly how I imagined which was a great feeling because nothing is worse then expecting the best but receiving the worst. The clothes were lent too me by two amazing designers, Megan from Shop Genoa and Gemma from Gemma Goldstone. Everything tied in great and I'm very grateful to have been able to use some lovely pieces both vintage and handmade.
If you hadn't already guessed, the theme was based around the 90's. I looked at a lot of Gwen Stefani pictures for inspiration, especially the makeup. The 90's was such a different era as there was so many different looks but this has to be one of my favorites. It was a long day but definitely worth it, like anything you love doing should be. I am always on the look out for new people to work with. So whether you're a model, photographer or designer I'd love to be in contact with you. You can email me at tamaraajanetm@hotmail.com. Anything you want to do in this world is possible so just go out and do it already. No time like the present!
Tamara.
