When having to choose what I would prefer to do as part-time job it definitely would be in retail. Just because fashion is the industry I want to get into and where better then to start than retail. Unfortunately having no previous experience it is rather hard to get into working in a retail store especially one of the well known, high street stores like H&M, new look and the amazing Topshop. However I recently applied to be a sales advisor in one of the biggest Topshop stores in London, the Oxford circus branch and too my surprise my application was successful and I have been asked to come into a interview so I thought to help others I would show you all what I am wearing. All outfit information will be below, links will be there if items are available.
White bobble beanie - Primark / Harvard university jumper - Vintage thrift shop / Tie Dye top - Urban outfitters / Green tartan skirt - Ebay / Brown belt - Primark / Tattoo chocker necklace - Ebay / Pentagram necklace - Valley of Neptune / Black Chelsea boots - H&M
That is the outfit, I tried to go for something casual and stylish so hopefully I achieved that. Actually a random lady came up to me in the street complementing my outfit so fingers crossed the Topshop crew/interviewers thought the same. I will be writing up a separate blog post letting you guys know about the interview and give you some of the questions and a bit of personal advice. So until then fashion friends, I'll be blogging to ya later.
p,s sorry about the pictures, you guys are going to have to deal with iPhone pictures for now. Until I can get hold of a better camera :)
