SheaMoisture launch party

I have gone back and forth wondering if I should even bother writing up this post as it has been a while. I fell of the blogging planet back into my own little world for a while and have had serious writing block, I don't think I'm yet to recover from it yet but nevertheless I wanted to get this post up before 2016 at least.

About three weeks ago now I was invited down by a lady over at Sparkle PR to attend the UK boots launch of SheaMoisture. As a fellow curly head I jumped at the opportunity and also because I have been a long term fan and user of SheaMoisture. It leaves your curls popping and definitely well looked after.
SheaMoisture was originally created way back in 1912 by an amazing lady called Sofi Tucker. She was only 19 at the time when she started selling her homemade shea butter, African black soap and her hair and skin preparations all around the countryside where she lived. And may I add she was doing all this while raising four children, what an awesome lady she is. It's phenomenal  that the company has grown so much and is still going strong all these years later.

The event was truly a great experience, music, talks, cocktails, wine and more cocktails...what more could you want. We got to have a look at all the products old and new which will by now be in many boots stores around the UK so it's definitely worth having a look. We even got to leave with an amazing goodie bag filled with beautiful products to try, so watch out for a review soon.
